Beberapa waktu lalu ada perbincangan menarik mengenai topik web directory dan link farm . Ada yang mengatakan web directory identik dengan link farm karena disana tempat berkumpulnya link-link yang mungkin saja tidak berkualitas. Ada pula yang mengatakan belum tentu web directory tersebut link farm, jadi silahkan saja submit web disana.

Here is the ranking criteria in the SERP for Google if you want to optimize your site.

1. Title Tag: Uniqueness should be the main criteria. The smaller the title tag the more importance placed on each keyword.
2. Anchor Text:Getting targeted links having relevant anchor text is supposed to hold very high weight with Google.
3. Back Links:Backlinks are links from other web sites that point to your web site. quality Backlinks can always boost a website.
4. Quality Content: Quality content and unique content tend to rank best. There are many benefits to having original content on a site from both a SEO perspective and a user perspective.Content attracts backlinks.
