After several week I have no idea how come one of my plugin can not appear in the admin of wordpress, now I know why ;) And it’s so simple and I really stupid not to check it.

php-code

My friend which is a php freak want to create a gadget blog and luckily he found a good domain name which is expired and now he already register it. Because he really help me so much with php coding, I give him all of my stuff and where to download all of the plugin which I used to develop and optimize all of my blog. And after 3 days he contact me and want to know my suggestion about his blog. So I review his blog and adjust some of the layout and where to put the ads until he said about the trouble plugin. He said the plugin has been modified so it can not create the same keyword which can make the mySQL database get huge every month but still need some improvement. He gave me the the modified trouble plugin and I still don’t use it to upgrade.

This morning I have a time to re-install the wordpress because Servage said there’s nothing wrong with their server and they said I must re-install my wordpress engine. So I re-install it, move all of the plugin and theme into the right position and the trouble plugin still not appear!! It’s really suck but I remember the modified plugin from my friend. So I upload and and refresh the admin panel and tadaa… the plugin now appear, hurray!! And it’s really work, so I modified another code and it’s done!

So I just curious why it can be happen. I though maybe the name is different so it will appear with different name and I sitll blame Servage about this trouble. I open dreamweaver and both of plugin the original and modified, view the source code and see the weird think in the original plugin. I can not found the ” <? ” in the first line at the original plugin. That’s the trouble why I can not see the plugin in the admin panel. It’s so stupid when you found the error it’s so simple but you can not find it for several weeks.
